Kittens born 12:15 am

Well, Diva had her babies! It took around 2 hours, of course we were there with camera in hand. She did great - took care of them very well throughout. She had 4 but lost 1 =(. But, that leaves us 3 itty bitty kittens and a very happy Mama Kitty that is purring up a storm.

I have tons of photos from the birth - but they are sooooo graphic that I refrained from putting them out here (you’re welcome).

In these pictures, the kittens are about 12 HOURS old. Really they aren’t very cute when they are this young. They look like little mice! I am eagar to see how they change and turn into little cutie pies over the next few weeks =)

Mike held up each kitten so I could get pictures.  Diva didn’t like it at all. She got really ansy so I tried to be quick, which is why I only got one shot of 1 of them. Maggie didn’t like it either - she is very protective, too funny.

They are about 14 HOURS old here:

I’ll be posting updated pictures over the next few weeks - FUN!
We’re thinking of names for them. Hmmmm, nothing good yet. If you have any ideas, post them!  I know I’ll at least see something from Gin, Chris and David, right?

Aww… my baby Diva finally had her babies!! The kittens are really tiny and very adorable…like their momma. I think I’ll need for them to get a little bigger before I can name them, so that I can tell them apart a little better.

hey! Ah she finally had her kittens! yay! Man i really hate that I wasn’t there to see them, but it’s ok, I can come see them in a week or two. Dad when are you going to fix chrispass.com so that I can post pics? None of my posts are any good because i can’t describe them with pictures!!! haha but it’s ok i know you guys are busy. I’ll ttys and see ya later! Chris

Awe! The kittens adorable! I wish I could have one, but mom would kill me! Good luck with them. I can’t wait to see the little guys!

Who’s Diva. I didn’t know about your new cat. Whatcha gonna do with all the kittens? I read your blogs about the AI contestants but since I haven’t watched the show, I don’t know how to comment. I saw the guy from Bham on Fox news. I’ll read ya along. Mama

Well, Lauren brought Diva home when she was a little kitten and we couldn’t say no. I think she’s Jake’s cat now.

Yay baby kitties!! They are so small.. they like to cuddle with eachother. It is sweet. Diva is a very good mama.  I agree.. new life is very exciting.

Diva is Jake’s kitty, he was so excited the day she had the kittens. I walked in the door and he just started jabbering, the only thing I understood was kitty, kitty!!! Then off he ran straight up stairs to show me. I don’t know who’s the cutest Jake or the Kittens.
